What's new in Saga

Only published positions are listed

• FixedThe positions page now lists only published positions. Drafts no longer appear anywhere on the public site, including at their own link. Boards still see and edit their drafts under My positions.

Saga moves to sagahoa.com

• ChangedSaga now lives at sagahoa.com, and the admin site at admin.sagahoa.com. Links, sign-in and search listings all use the new address.
• FixedStaff are taken straight to the admin site after signing in, instead of a page that no longer exists.
• ChangedBecause of the move, everyone needs to sign in again once.

Account setup and welcome emails

• FixedCreating an account from the sign-in page could leave it without an account type, which quietly broke the pages meant for boards or for managers. Sign-in now points you to the right signup for your role, so a new account works from the first time you use it.
• FixedWelcome emails now arrive once you finish signing up. They were not being sent at all.
• ChangedThe contact and invitation forms now limit how often they can be submitted from one address. Normal use is unaffected.

Sign-in accepts existing passwords

• FixedThe sign-in form no longer refuses passwords shorter than 12 characters. That rule applies when you choose a password, not when you enter an existing one.

Admin fully separated

• RemovedThe old admin section was removed from this site; staff tools are on the admin site.

Changelog and a separate admin

• AddedA public changelog at /changelog, with the current version linked from the footer.
• ChangedStaff tools moved to a dedicated admin site.

Admin link fix

• FixedThe Admin link in the header now opens the admin site instead of the main site.

Sign-in reliability

• FixedThe sign-in form now tells you when it cannot reach the server, instead of appearing to do nothing.

Admin sign-in loop fixed

• FixedYour sign-in is now shared between the main site and the admin site, so opening admin no longer bounces you back and forth.

Sign-in destination fixes

• FixedOpening the admin site while already signed in now takes you to the admin site instead of the main site.
• FixedBoard members and managers are no longer sent to admin-only pages after signing in.

Admin sign-in fix

• FixedSigning in from the admin site now returns you to the admin site instead of the main site.

Refreshed interface

• ChangedRebuilt the site interface on a new component foundation with a refreshed visual style.
• ChangedDeploys now verify their configuration before going live, so releases ship a correctly configured build.
